Final totals

We are pleased to announce that we have raised $3,551.88 for our charities this year. Hesed House and Hope Haven will each recieve $1,775.94. We are so excited that we were able to raise so much money for these charities, especially now when times are hard for so many people.

2010 Committee Members

I am pleased to announce that we will have 2 new people joining the Charity Committee for 2010. Nikki Melin from Midwest Groundcovers and Heather Davis from Midwest Trading will be awesome new additions the committee!!

Holiday Raffle

The Charity Committee will be holding the Holiday Raffle from December 9th – December 17th. The raffle winners will be announced on Friday December 18th. Enter for your chance to win:

3 month health club membership to Delnor Health and Wellness Center in Geneva
$25.00 gift certificate to Smitty’s on the Corner in St. Charles

Raffle buckets will be in the lunchrooms in the main offices in St. Charles & Virgil.

Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 and can be purchased from Julia Kelly in St. Charles or Crystal Brown in Virgil.

All proceeds will be split between Hesed House and Hope Haven.

Food & Clothing Drive starts on 11/2/09

The 2009 Charity Committee will be having a food & clothing drive from November 2nd - November 23rd.

Needs lists are posted on Sharepoint and are also attached to the collection boxes in the main office lunchrooms.

Remember - when you bring in 10 items that are on the needs lists you will receive $5 in raffle tickets!

Food & Clothing Drive

From November 2nd - November 23rd we will be having a clothing & food drive in the main office lunchrooms.

St. Charles & Michigan will collect for Hesed House and Virgil & Ottawa will collect for Hope Haven. Items will be delivered to both charities on Tuesday November 24th.

As an added bonus to employees who bring in 10 items off of the needs lists, they will receive $5.00 in free raffle tickets for the Christmas raffle!!

Needs lists will be posted on the collection boxes in the main office lunchrooms.

Bake sale information

The bake sale will be held from Monday October 19 - Friday October 23 in the main office lunchrooms. Sign up sheets are in the main office lunchrooms.

Please package your items as follows:
Cookies: By the dozen
Cakes & Pies: Whole or by the slice
Breads: Small or large loaves
Candies: By the plate or bag
Muffins: By the half dozen

All proceeds will go towards Hesed House and Hope Haven.
